It was a great apartment we liked it very much. It was clean and spacious. But it would be great if you have a proper double bed rather two singles put together as there was a gap and it was not so confertable. There was a nice dining table but it was made of glass so it would be good to have place mats provided to protect againset possible damatges as well as making less noise, Reception were very helpful. Thank you.

Incredible apartment, Friendly, professional and ever ready to help reception staff. One of the best stays I've had in Glasgow out of 9 hotels. Little problem with other loud guest in rooms above and to the side on the first night and instead of a double bed they had to singles put together but would definately choose this hotel again, hopefully next time the checking out time could be extended to 11am, otherwise perfect stylish apartments

We found your website online whilst looking for accommodation for 6 adults for a weekend away in Glasgow as a birthday surprise for our friend.
The location of the apartments were excellent and the accommodation was of a very high standard. The front desk staff were very helpful and polite.
The only comment, as a woman, I would like to make is that a mirror is needed in the double bedded room of the two bedroom apartment and a waste bin. And, with the very cold weather it would be helpful to be able to adjust the heating settings - it was extremely cold during the night.
We would have no hesitation in recommending your company and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Glasgow.
Kind regards
Karen Graveney

Had a fabulous stay at the central apartments in Glasgow during Hogmanay. The apartment was excellently presented, comfortable and located in an excellent location within the city. We had a great time and will certainly be recommending these apartments to friends and family for future breaks in Glasgow. Thank you.

Excellent facility; found the staff very helpful and generous with their time and advice. Would highly recommend as an alternative to an Hotel as it provides normal living conditions that serve as a "home from home".

The actual apartment itself was in excellent order although the laminate floor in places had spillage marks.
Enjoyed Stay and would use again.
Other residents in block 5 and 7 were however noisy and smoking out of windows - the general upkeep of the paving and walkway to block 7 was not what I expected of this development but as work was being carried out further along by developers this was understandable but could have been better managed

Excellent accommodation. Clean, quiet with everything you need for either a short or longer stay. Loved my balcony looking out onto the Firth of Forth. Easy access to city using public transport. Am frequently in Edinburgh at the moment and this is the best placed I have stayed so far,Will definitely be using again.

Had a recent weekend in Glasgow with 3 other mates so decided to try the apartments. Very good location - close to central station but not too noisy. The rooms were comfy and there was good storage space (and enough mirrors for us all to be happy). When we initially checked in our apartment had 2 single beds and a double - we asked if it could be changed so that we had 4 single beds we were told that would be no problem and within 10 minutes someone was at our apartment to sort it out. Despite being close to the city centre it was not too noisy (double glazed windows) and we were not disturbed during the night by the traffic or people on the street.
Overall very good stay - will come back again next time

Apartments were very clean and comfortable. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. We were visiting relatives in Glasgow city and apartments were great as we could come and go freely as we pleased. Kitchen was adequately equipped for what we needed. This is our second time to stay here and will definitely stay again.

My stay was excellent value. For the same price as a hotel room, you get the equivalent of a home from home. The friendly staff dealt very efficiently with a couple of minor things needing attention, none of which detracted from the quality of the stay. Overall, very pleased.

This is the second time we have stayed here and as usual the staff were very friendly and helpful and the apartment was clean and comfortable just what we needed for a weekend stay.
Unfortunately we were woken up a few times during the weekend by the noise of passersby which was a shame as last time we were at the back of the apartments and weren't affected by the noise but you can never predict who is going to be staggering by in the early hours so I would definitely book the apartments again but maybe ask for the ones further back from the street.
Great stay though and would recommend these apartments.

We were looking for a 2 adjoining rooms or family room type accommodation for a busy family week up in Glasgow. Hotels were very expensive for a 2 room combination and then I stumbled across these guys. Thoroughly checked the reviews as this would be the first time I'd rented a serviced apartment. Really worked out well, the rooms were clean, bathrooms were good, living/dinning/kitchen area had everything one needed, storage space, secure car parking, and supermarkets/restaurants were all just a wee stroll away. BEST - The beds, wow, the little fella called it his cloud bead, WORST - stains on carpets in living/dining/kitchen area. Would we do it again - ABSOLUTELY!

The location was fantastic and despite being city centre I didn’t find there was a huge amount of noise from the street.
Staff on the desk were very pleasant but it didn’t help that instead of a sign outside stating ‘Hot-el Apartments’ it said ‘Glasgow Central Apartments’ and I ended up phoning for directions when I was actually on the doorstep.
The apartment was an excellent size but the fittings are standard and not what I would call luxury. The décor has no imagination as it is just plain white walls. While the bathroom and kitchen were very clean the paintwork generally is marked and the carpets very stained and this makes the general impression one of being grubby. While this may be due to heavy traffic in a busy business venture it leaves a poor impression and does not suggest luxury apartment.

Our stay was wonderful, we were all very impressed with the apartment.
Apart from the heating problem we had the problem was dealt with in a respectable manner and very quickly in which another room was provided.
we also had a gentleman who did not introduce himself, at first was very rude about friends coming over. But once we had explainned that they were not staying and we were having a good catch up he then became friendly and explained that when friends attend they leave the aprtment in a state. we did explain that we would make sure our friends will go home and that we would leave the apartment the way it was arranged for us.
I would recommend this to my friends and family as the apartments is set in a way that it felt like you are in your own home.
Again apart from the couple of hiccups we were all very impressed.
thanks

A most enjoyable half-term break. Apartment so much better than a hotel room. Both booking and reception staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment excellent - very clean and well equipped, though perhaps a bit too warm. Bed comfortable and firm. Basin mirrors and lighting not well arranged for wet shaving. Secure parking is a real bonus - well worth the cost.
Driving round the city is easy, but walking is easier - the city feels compact. Lots to do in Glasgow - including Citizens' Theatre (Othello - all seats £7 on Tuesdays!) and a BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra concert at City Halls. A visit to the Lighthouse is a must, as is Kelvin Grove Museum, People's Palace, and GoMA. Art school tour fascinating. Willow Tearooms disappointing - v slow service. If you prefer your culture without in-your-face tourism skip Edinburgh and head to Glasgow.

I have just spent 3 nights in the Glasgow Central Apartments and, apart from a few minor issues, found that everything exceeded expectations. The situation could hardly have been more central or closer to the Central Station. I had more space than I expected and the level of furnishing and equipment was good. I did not use everything but what I did use worked well. Everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful.
My stay would have been even better if I had instructions for using the equipment and general admin arrangements such as checking-out. There a sticker telling me how to switch on the TV but not on how to use it or the other things, The availability of wireless internet could have been explained although a quick question to reception solved this one. Finally, some floor covering on the upper stairs would have made it appear more finished!
Good value for a central city location.

Hi. Just stayed at these wonderful apartments for 4 days with my family and found that they were very comfortable and spacious. I would have appreciated some sort of sweeping brush or hoover to be in the apartment as due to the colour of the carpets they showed up any little bit of dirt. They were very Central and the beds I found were very comfortable. Our T.V did seem to have a mind of its own and the controls didn't always work they way they were meant to but this was only a minor fault for us. I would definately recommend these apartments and if in Glasgow again I would be booking them myself. Did find the late check out charge to be a bit on the pricey side at £10 an hour over the check out time.

Receptionist was very polite, beautiful views, very comfortable apartment, secure parking, location was abit far out of city centre and the recommended taxi company were rude and over priced (dont use city cabs) There was building work outside our window which detracted from the view slightly but that was more due to the floor we were on.
would stay again though

great apartment with very friendly staff in a brilliant location. it's a little on the pricey side, but that is reflected by it being very nice indeed. check out the indian takeaway over the road called spice of the city, which does the best curry i've had in a long time.
In fairness the double beds are two singles pushed together, but that doesn't really make any difference, they are very comfortable and everything was superbly clean! We'll be staying there again!

Difficult to find when driving, probably down to Glasgow traffic system and lack of signs that were easy to spot whilst travelling. However, reception staff helped to find the parking, which was secure and easy to access.
Reception staff helpful, informative and pleasant.
Location excellent.
Apartment clean and well equipped.
Slight down side was the noise into the early hours from traffic and revellers at a nearby pub/takeaway.

The apartment was as advertised, everything worked and the mattresses were great! Michael at the front desk was charming and helpful.
A few suggestions:
Salt and pepper in the kitchen would be nice.
Some instructions on how to use the appliances for non-UK residents would be very helpful.
Trash removal - we had quite a pile by the end of the week. Directions to the nearest rubbish bin would be appreciated. Also, some way to recycle plastic bottles, Coke cans, newspapers, etc.
Overall, a very pleasant stay. I would definitely book again.

The location of Glasgow Central Apartment is excellent. It is close to the train station yet on the quiet side of the town.
I carelessly left my camera on the taxi while I was on my way there, and the hotel staff did their best to help me tracked it. I was truly grateful.

The property is well positioned and generally well equipped.
The staff are courteous and helpful.
The parking facilities are excellent - but why is it necessary to charge extra for them?
We stayed in apartment 7.4 and in the spirit of making honest constructive comments relating to accommodation which is by no means cheap please note the following, not in any order of importance: -
The carpet in the living area has a large burn on it.
The carpet in the hall has a large mark on it.
Generally, the carpet is cheap and tired and badly needs replacing.
Likewise, the plain white paint is showing its age.
The freeview box did not appear to be working.
One has come to expect not only soap to be provicded in high class accommodation but also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
There was at least one broken light bulb.
The design of curtain rail prevents the windows from opening properly.
A loo roll holder would be useful.
These matters, with the exception of the carpet which really does give a terrible first impression, are minor. The combination of them detracts from an experience which was otherwise good.
A Kelbrick

We stayed here for the 4th time in 2yrs as it's close to the train stn and easy access to the SECC. The apartments are very spacious and well worth the money for self catering. The staff member who greeted us upon arrival was very pleasant and nothing was a problem for him to do for us. Great location with Lidl, Somerfield and Tesco Metro within a few minutes walk.
A few more kitchen items would be handy though as they aren't that expensive. Not much toilet paper in the toilet upon arrival. A few hassles taking card payment due to connection errors. Last year it took more than 2 weeks and 8 phonecalls to refund my credit card holding deposit. We also had a hassle getting the free gym access to LA Fitness which we get every time we stay here, but a simple phonecall sorted that. Were told it's only free if you book through the promotional websites. If you book directly with hot-el apartments it's a £5.00 fee each time you use it. Usually it's the other way around! Carpets are quite marked but that can be put down to they fact a lot of hen's/stag/sports parties stay here and is misused.
But otherwise a great stay and nice spacious place to chill out . Beds are very comfy and shower pressure is great too! Will definately stay again.

Although staff were friendly and helpful and appartment well appointed there were a few niggles that could have done to have been sorted. The lift was broken (I'm not really complaining about that - just bad luck) and as I walked up the 5 flights, the carpet stopped and was replaced by bare concrete as if the building had not been completed. All floor landings looked the same without numbers to tell you which you were on. The 'double' bed was two single beds put together. (a cheeky way of making twin and 'double' rooms but not something expected in a £70+ a night hotel). The carpet had been badly stained in places. The cooker controls were bizarre in that the timer had to be on before the elements would work - no instruction manual was provided, which, if it had been, would have avoided me thinking it was broken for the first night, and troubling the receptionist in the morning. Although hotel-like touches such as towels and tea and coffee makings were provided, there was no shampoo/shower gel, which would have been a nice touch.
All in all, reasonable value but could so easily have been a lot better if care were taken over these details.

We booked the apartment for a girlie shopping / concert weekend in Glasgow. We were late on arriving, but the staff were ready & waiting, in fact the staff over the whole weekend were outstanding and incredibly helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived and well above our expectations, sorry for finishing all your teabags tho.
To be honest the whole weekend was fantastic and the apartment helped make it so. We will definately stay here or any other Hot-el Apartments again and will have absolutely no problem recommending them!

We booked a two bedroom apartment near the station, as we wanted to travel to Edinburgh (which was full). We were delighted with the apartment, it was roomy, clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. We were able to cook our own breakfast each morning, and relax when we got home at night. Although we mainly were in Edinburgh, it was good to be so central in Glasgow so we could see something of that as well, and we were near the station which made travel easy. We were a couple, with two friends, and the apartment was plenty big enough for four people. Quite happy to have stayed longer, and will certainly consider it again.

Very warm welcome from very helpful reception staff. Apartment was bigger than we expected. The kitchen was well equipped and the general layout of the rooms worked very well. Unfortunately, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable as it was 2 single beds attached in the middle and one was higher than the other i.e. less worn! Even when my husband slept on the sofa bed (which was a better bed), I had to lie across it diagonally to get any sleep. The sheets also didn't fit the bed!
Otherwise, it is very well located - very close to Central station and alll the shops. Gym facilities and parking were a great bonus.
Would stay again but would check first if the beds had been replaced!

We spent two nights at Glasgow Central apartments and found it to meet all expectations. Plenty of space for 3 people, excellent amenities, excellent location, clean and spacious. We would definatly stay again as we were impressed and found the front desk staff to be helpful, courteous and polite. A stress free stay we were "home from home" comfortable and would recommend the apartments for use by anyone from business people, families, large groups and singles. No complaints at all!
